Get ready for our
2022 CSA
2022 CSA
Our spring CSA starts May 10 and runs until June 14th. You can count on early greens, scallions, carrots, radishes and other surprises. We'll also include a 1/2 gallon of maple syrup from our neighbor and a $40 gift certificate for organic plant starts and hanging baskets. This share works well for anyone craving early produce before the home gardens come in. Already have maple or don't need plants? Let us know and we'll work with you to make sure the spring share meets your needs.
The small package is a combination of our spring, summer small, and fall CSA shares. The spring and fall shares are the same size as the larger package, but the summer share is smaller by a few portions of vegetables. Greens, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, onions, cucumbers, green beans and strawberries are just a few of the delicious items you will receive from May 10th through November 15th.
The Standard CSA offers our spring, summer standard and fall combination share. Get the best price on tomatoes, strawberries, cucumbers, greens, spinach, potatoes, carrots, herbs, garlic, zucchini and so much more. This share runs May 10th through November 15th.
An impressively full basket considering the cooler days. Includes spinach, greens, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, roots, winter squash, onions, fennel, cabbage, and many more delicious vegetables. Keep eating a large variety of fresh vegetables long after the home gardens have winked out. Runs 12 weeks from August 30th until November 15th.
For the standard summer share you may take home 9-11 produce items weekly from June 21st until August 23rd. No need to limit your menu when you're loading up on cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, beets, scallions, herbs, melons, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, new potatoes and so much more. As a gesture of gratitude we also offer a weekly complimentary pick in our flower garden.
Our summer small share offers a few less portions of vegetables than our standard share. We recommend it for 1-2 people though the ambitious cook may need to consider our larger CSA. From June 21st until August 23rd you'll take home cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, beets, scallions, tomatoes, melons, spinach, greens, peppers, eggplants, and so much more!
A CSA is a wonderful way to enjoy the high quality produce we grow at Joe’s Brook Farm. Developed to help farmers market their produce, CSAs, or Community Supported Agriculture, have become increasingly popular as a way to support your local grower. Your membership in Joe’s Brook Farm CSA helps us plan our production for the year and to buy seeds and supplies. In exchange, we provide a weekly supply of organically grown fresh produce and other products throughout the growing season. The CSA supports us financially in our early season. In addition to organically grown local produce our CSA also offers the opportunity to pick your own herbs and flowers, purchase local foods, and to have on farm experiences with the weekly pick up. You’ll receive an email newsletter every weekend with new recipes and a list of the expected weekly harvest so that you can custom select your produce. Each week members have the option to pick up their custom shares at the farm, in town, or curbside. Those picking up at the farm market style do not need to preselect their basket. As a gesture of our gratitude the summer shares and packages also come with a complimentary u-pick flower and herb opportunity. Choose from a variety of different packages based on seasonal offerings and your household needs. Our spring and fall CSAs are scheduled conveniently for home gardeners who grow their own produce during the longer days. Package deals offer at least a 10% discount on the full 28 weeks!! Remember, a CSA can be an exciting, healthful gift for a friend or family member. |
Our CSA pledges to feed not only your body but your inner artist as well. From the colorful palette of vegetables, to our historical restored barn, to the flower patch where you can wander and be still, we give you a chance to connect.
